Fitout has begun at EC91 in Fanling, Hong Kong. Due to be fully operational on October 31st, we have commenced the installation of racks and network equipment.
Hong Kong is a fantastic market for edge data centres as almost 100% of all data centres are located on Hong Kong Island itself. Only also being 10 minutes to Shenzen, allows it to become a gateway into Mainland China.

We have started work on the first of 3 locations in Thailand. EC61 Chiang Mai will be the first site to be deployed; closely followed by EC62 Phuket and EC63 Khon Kaen.
There are around 30 data centres in the whole of Thailand, and all are located in Bangkok. Thailand has a total population of 70 Million, with only 11 Million local to Bangkok!
Chiang Mai area has a total population of 1.2M. To put this in context, it is the size of Dallas, Texas by population! It is also the location of the regional tech, hosting, and cloud industry.

Edge Centres USA secures US$5.7 million in seed funding round ahead of Q4 2022 launch in Los Angeles, kicking off US expansionย ย
The newly-raised capital will support and further accelerate Edge Centresโ aggressive, multi-continental rollout of its rapidly-expanding edge data centre platform, with the companyโs entry into the US market as early as the start of Q4, 2022.
Edge Centres is poised to concurrently launch three new locations in Los Angeles, California.
Edge Centres plans for its new locations to be operational as early as October, and has already onboarded an experienced, talented country manager to help guide the companyโs expansion across the rest of the US market. Over the next 24 months, Edge Centres is planning to bring an additional 19 locations online, cementing the companyโs position in the edge data centre market.
As the worldโs largest and most mature data centre market, the US represents both a unique challenge and opportunity for Edge Centres, as the company brings the new, unique approach to edge data centre industry that has resulted in astounding growth in Australia and Asia to the US.
